The second generation Android tablet from Asus is the EeePad Transformer Prime.
Running a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core chipset, this will be one of the most powerful tablets on the market.
The Tegra 3 chipset includes five cores and promises 5x the power and 3x the graphics performance of the Tegra 2 chip, which featured in the original Asus EeePad Transformer.
The slim 8.3mm tablet features a 10.1 inch IPS screen made from Gorilla Glass and including IPS technology, as well as dual cameras of 8 megapixels and 1.2 megapixels, including full HD movie capture.
Other features include stereoscopic 3D support - for converting games to 3D and a 12-hour battery life for video playback and the ability to pair games controllers for playing back Tegra games on a television.
Once again the docking keyboard will be available to turn the tablet into a netbook for more challenging work assignments.
Launch date for the Asus EeePad Transformer Prime is thought to be December 2011.
