The latest Blackberry model is a landmark mobile to manufacturer RIM due to it being the first of their mobiles to have a sliding QWERTY keyboard, and marking the launch of BlackBerry OS 6.

The TFT capacitive touchscreen of the phone, available with 360 x 480 pixels and 16M colors in its images and a width of 3.2 inches, is one of the great assets of the phone. It allows for optimum internet viewing and crystal clear images to be taken.

The Torch offers a 4GB internal storage with the option to extend the memory of the phone to 32GB with micro SD cards. The device also houses 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM and a 624MHz processor.

Additional features include a 5 megapixel camera with flash, MP3 player and both 3G and WiFi capabilities.
