The LG Optimus Black is one of the thinnest and lightest Android smartphones around with a thickness of just 9.2mm and weighing in at a mere 109 grams.

Featuring LG’s own Nova display technology, the handset features one of the brightest, clearest and most readable mobile phone screens. With truer colours, great visibility in sunlight, and saving up to 50% more battery consumption than other LCD screens, Nova display is a break-through in mobile phone technology.

Currently the handset is powered by Android 2.2 but is upgradable to v2.3. A powerful 1GHz cortex-A8 processor improves the phones performance plus with Wi-Fi and a fast 3G connection you can download apps and games from the Android Market in almost no time at all.
