At just 10.9mm deep and weighing 130g, the Huawei Honor is powered by a 1.4Ghz processor, and features a 4 inch 854x480 pixel screen with 16 million colours.

An 8 megapixel camera with HDR functionality, plus a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video calls are a fantastic feature, however the highlight with this device has to be the battery. Huawei claims the 1900mAh battery has enough power to last three days, making it the longest in the 'smartphone with a 4 inch screen' category.

The connectivity package is well-geared, with quad-band GSM and dual-band 3G (with HSPA) support, Wi-Fi with DLNA, GPS, Bluetooth and FM radio.

The handset also runs on the latest version of the Android operating system, this being Gingerbread version 2.3.5.
