Smartphone Set-up

Congratulations on your imate JAM or Qtek S100 purchase.
To start using your phone's web browser follow these instrustions to complete its set-up.

Download the set-up file
Firstly download on to you hard drive the file that is appropriate for your chosen Network and connection type.

When asked, choose to save the file to your hard drive.

Install the file on your phone
The process for transferring the files to the mobile device is in 2 stages as follows:

Stage 1

1. Sync the device with Microsoft active sync.

2. In active sync open the 'explore' tab.

3. A new window will open containing the mobile device memory files.

4. Copy the network settings file from where it was saved on your PC and place it in the explore window and sync the device. Do not extract the .CAB file before you do this; just copy it as a single file.

Stage 2

1. On the mobile device go to 'start', 'Programmes', 'File Explorer'.

2. Open the network settings file from the location it was stored in the mobile device.

3. The network settings will install automatically.
